Heart of the Rose Festival

I’m looking forward to sharing ‘Moving Through Loss’, my embodied grief workshop at Heart of the Rose Festival on Saturday 2nd September.

Heart of the Rose is an intimate women’s festival to honour and re-member the way of the Heart, the mysteries of the Feminine and the Feminine path of Awakening.

Taking place from the 1st-3rd September on Eridge Park, Kent.

Eridge is one of the oldest private deer parks in England, covered in ancient oak trees, powerful ley lines and sacred springs, and is only a 50-minute train ride from London and a 10-minute drive from Tunbridge Wells.

This year will be the second year of this very special heart-centred festival, with 5 main Workshop/Dance/Music spaces, as well as a Sacred Fire area, Sauna + Healing area, Stalls, Art Space, Sanctuary of Rest, a Red Tent space and so much more.

The festival will be capped at 350 women and 20% of proceeds will be going to charity.

To read more about the festival and how this festival is just one small piece of a much vaster, long-term vision for the re-awakening of the divine Feminine on the Land - please see our website

Yoga Club with Yoga on the Lane: A 60 hour Course

We are facing an unprecedented crisis in children’s mental health and Yoga on the Lane’s children’s yoga training will give you the skills to support children in a mindful, compassionate and creative way that is rooted in science and shared with you by a team of dedicated and committed practitioners.

I will be joining a team of teachers to deliver this children’s yoga training where you will explore how and why children thrive by developing their self-awareness, resilience and creativity. Our training has a focus on enabling children to listen to their bodies.  We also embed the importance of resilience, regulation, creativity, play, connection (to nature, self and community), curiosity and rest.

The training will enable you to develop your understanding of the relationship between brain, body and nervous system and how this affects child development. At the same time as understanding the development of the mind, you will develop an understanding of children’s anatomy and physiology and the developmental stages.  You will gain a deeper understanding of how to speak to children in ways that are effective and to listen closely to what you are being told. You will learn to adapt Asana for children of different ages and at different stages, explore how to talk to children about their own bodies, about mindfulness, and about their emotions. You will learn how to introduce ideas about ethics and philosophy in a way that is secular and inclusive, and will enable children to connect with nature and with their peers. You can find more information about the training by clicking here.

The Descent & Rising Online Retreat

Awaken the magic, mystery and power within you.

A free series of intimate conversations on the heroine’s journey with Carly Mountain and special guests.

When our lives fall apart we often feel broken, ashamed and deeply alone. But what if you knew, as you experienced this descent, that it was mapped out in a myth thousands of years old? What if, despite the uniqueness of your own life and experiences, each stage of the process was universal?

The Inanna Myth is the map that so many of us are craving to help us traverse the complexity of our lives and times.

Through this retreat you will be invited to explore the personal and archetypal nature of descent & rising. We will delve into themes and experiences that we may encounter in our heroine’s journey’s and uncover why this ancient myth has such wisdom and medicine for our modern times.

The heroine is one who is foraging for another way.

My guests are a group of inspiring authors, creatives, teachers and changemakers including, women’s wisdom keeper and author Jane Hardwicke Collings, TEDx speaker and leading teacher of sexual sovereignty and succulence, Dr Saida Desilets and author and founder of Womancraft Publishing, Lucy H. Pearce. These conversations are an invitation to find solidarity in your experiences, tend to your longing and unveil the wisdom inside of you.

Together we can honour our descents and dare to rise.
